چکیده
ABSTRACT We present results of our analysis spectra the host galaxies candidate tidal disruption events (TDEs) XMMSL1 J111527.3+180638 and PTF09axc to determine nature these transients. subtract starlight component from galaxy origin nuclear emission lines. Using a Baldwin–Phillips–Terlevich (BPT) diagram, we conclude that is classified as Seyfert galaxy, suggesting this transient likely be caused by (extreme) variability in active galactic nucleus. find falls ‘star-forming’ region BPT implying strong TDE candidate. For both galaxies, WISE colour difference W1 − W2 < 0.8, which means there no indication dusty torus therefore an nucleus, seemingly contradicting finding for J111527.3+180638. discuss possible reasons discrepant obtained through two methods.

A candidate tidal disruption event in the Galaxy cluster Abell 3571
Context. Tidal disruption events are possible sources of temporary nuclear activity in galactic nuclei and can be considered as good indicators of the existence of supermassive black holes in the centers of galaxies. Aims. A new X-ray source has been detected serendipitously with ROSAT in a PSPC pointed observation of the galaxy cluster A3571. Given the strong flux decay of the object in subseq...
متن کاملRevisiting Optical Tidal Disruption Events with iPTF16axa
We report the discovery by the intermediate Palomar Transient Factory (iPTF) of a candidate tidal disruption event (TDE) iPTF16axa at z = 0.108, and present its broadband photometric and spectroscopic evolution from 3 months of follow-up observations with ground-based telescopes and Swift. The light curve is well fitted with a t decay, and we constrain the rise-time to peak to be <49 rest-frame...
متن کاملThe γ-ray afterglows of tidal disruption events
A star wandering too close to a supermassive black hole (SMBH) will be tidally disrupted. Previous studies of such 'tidal disruption event' (TDE) mostly focus on the stellar debris that are bound to the system, because they give rise to luminous flares. On the other hand, half of the stellar debris in principle are unbound and can stream to a great distance, but so far there is no clear evidenc...
متن کاملEvolution of Thick Accretion Disks Produced by Tidal Disruption Events
Geometrically thick disks may form after tidal disruption events, and rapid accretion may lead to short flares followed by long-term, lower-level emission. Using a novel accretion disk code which relies primarily on global conservation laws and the assumption that viscosity is everywhere positive, a broad range of physically allowed evolutionary sequences of thick disks is investigated. The mai...
متن کاملEmission-line Diagnostics of Galaxy Evolution with Ngst
As a byproduct of its search for the first star forming galaxies, NGST will obtain high-quality spectra for thousands of galaxies in the redshift range z = 0 − 6 and beyond. Most of the galaxies will possess strong emission-line spectra, and these spectra will provide a wealth of quantititative information on their star formation rates, reddening, metal abundances, internal kinematics, and nucl...
